Body Mass Index (BMI)
The BMI is used to know if you are overweight or not. It is a simple formula that does not take into account the muscle mass of people. If you are muscular you will have a higher BMI than if you did not.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
Use the BMR formula to know how many calories you should eat, daily. It can give you a good idea of how much food you need to eat or stop eating to lose weight. Don't forget that you need to count your calories to determine if you're eating too much!
